The Poem Path, or 'Flock of Words' is a long pedestrian path stretching from the Bus Station to the Promenade.  It passes the Festival Market and finishes opposite the Midland Hotal, also where a tall obelisk sculpture is located.

A view down the path towards the Bus Station.
A man must stand a long time on a hillside with his mouth open before a ROAST DUCK flies in 'Chinese Proverb.'

Various poems and verses are set within surface along the way, including this amusing one pictured right.

Even the seating is decorated with bird sayings.
