Mosaics

In The Beginning... I began creating mosaics as part of a plan to create a Secret Garden in a Therapeutic Garden in about 2007/08 The idea was to brighten up a small courtyard area that looked rather bland as it was little more than a triangular area of breeze-blocks with some gardening beds at the rear. As part of the rejuvenation of this area it was decided to use mosaic artwork to achieve this. The first mosaic I created was a seahorse design which was intended to go near a new pond area. After discovering I had a natural talent for making mosaics I experimented with various designs and methods to create other mosaic works.
